Rebecca Snyder

Rebecca Snyder

Rebecca delivers our PAM Level 1 course. She is a member of the Bioscience Group at Seiche, providing technical support on a variety of projects around the world.

Rebecca has several years of hands-on experience, including project planning, project management and system installation. She has conducted visual and acoustic marine mammal and visual bird surveys from a variety of platforms, including vessel-based, shore-based and aerial platforms. Rebecca has a M.S. in Marine Biology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Loraine Grant

Loraine Grant

Loraine was awarded her M.Sc. in Environmental Science and B.Sc. (hons) in Zoology from University College Dublin, Ireland. She is a passionate biologist with extensive experience as an environmental scientist, managing and developing many research projects for numerous NGOs in Central and South America. Loraine has spent the past number of years working as an offshore environmental representative on seismic exploration projects in the roles of MMO and PAM operator. She has in-depth knowledge on various PAM hardware systems and software including PAMGuard and Ishmael, as well as a knowledge of GIS.

Loraine now delivers our PAM Level 1 and Level 2 courses. She also develops our education workshops and projects for primary and secondary level students. Her experiences as an educator include training teachers on how to introduce marine biology into the classroom in an educational manner. As a wildlife rehabilitator and with her enthusiasm for wildlife education she has developed our educational workshops to introduce the younger generations to the wondrous world of our oceans.
